Established in 1983, Chatswood Communicators is a successful, dynamic and friendly Toastmasters club.
We provide one of the best forums available for you to improve your public speaking and communication skills.
You will “learn by doing” in a mutually supportive and positive learning environment. All our meetings have a diverse program and everyone volunteers to take on a variety of meeting assignments at different times.
There are no social distinctions in Toastmasters – age, background, beliefs – we all mix together in a supportive atmosphere.
We’re all there to help one another improve: from people in their first job, on the exective ladder, retirees, studying, experienced or inexperienced speakers – there is room for everyone and we warmly welcome visitors and new members.
Chatswood Communicators Meetings
Being a member of Toastmasters is more than just showing up at meetings and giving a speech now and then. You’re part of a fun, supportive group of friends with common goals of self-development. And it’s not all about public speaking, either. Toastmasters is a place where you can hone your leadership and communication skills while simultaneously joining a worldwide network of members who are doing the same thing you are, one meeting at a time.
Our meetings have a variety of roles, including chairing the meeting, the General Evaluator, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), prepared speeches, speech evaluations, Grammarian, Umms and Errs counter and Timer.
